Ayn P HIPPIES!!
Patrick James Dunn to Jim Hillson Hi Zircon! Very disappointed you won't be visiting but pleased that move will put you closer to family! On another matter, while you are packing up, have you come across my electric tooth-brush in the spare bedroom? I left it there on way back to Penticton. If you haven't taken it to the Thrift Store yet, I'd be happy to send you the cost of posting it, one way or another. I had presumed you would bring it along when you were to visit. Obviously, that won't happen now. Let me know and we'll plan accordingly! Thanks and Cheers! Thought that you might like to see this photo of an earlier Folk Fest. Margareta posted this a day or so ago!

Sorry that you won't be visiting this summer. But the move makes good sense given how involved your are with your family. We look forward to seeing your new place. Hope the move is easy. Hugs Corinne

Dearest, Dearest Donna Maria! Please know that all our heartfelt thoughts and love are with you and Gerry in this most difficult, difficult time. Words fail. How can they not. But our deep and abiding friendship and support is with you always. Much, much love, Chloë, Corinne and Patrick.

Thanks Patrick. It's a pretty tough go but we are ever hopeful the treatment works. It is the HPV virus cancer and it was just luck of the draw that I got it. The medical care has been very good and comprehensive with doctors, SLP, dieticians, radiologists and chemo nurses. Of course at the top of the care list is Gerry who is exceptional - I am so fortunate to have him.

Sorry we didn't get to see you but maybe better to see you when I am a little more up. We have two vehicles down here so will be driving one home eventually so maybe we will detour through Penticton. My family is having a family reunion over the August long weekend at my brother's summer home at Couer d'Alene lake and our plan is to go. We will fly home on the 4th and then back to Vancouver for a check up on August 25. It is 12 weeks after the final treatment (July 27) before they will know if it worked or not. It is going to be a long 12 weeks.

Congratulations on another successful Gran Fondo Ride - Corinne said your time was much better too! Pretty darn impressive especially since your hip is causing you some grief. Take care, Dawn

Patrick, Please share this email with Corinne. Thank you for your kind words. It all helps. We were sorry to have missed you but we did have a wonderful visit with Corinne. It was so good to catch up on everything and everyone. We really appreciated the time she spent with us - an excellent diversion. The only bad part was we never even thought to give her some food - how terrible. We will keep you posted on our plans for driving home sometime around the end of August. Hope your time with the Doctor re your hip goes well. We will be in Terrace on the 10th so unfortunately won' t be here. Keep I touch. 😘 Dawn

Hi guys, Hope you are enjoying the Folk Festival. The weather has certainly cooperated, against expectation.

Another big thank you from me, Mika and Sasha, for the wonderful time we had with you, all the hospitality and good times and delicious food. I’m sending a few photos from the trip. The visit to the kangaroo farm was amazing; the kids loved it. They have more than kangaroos too!

We made good time coming back Friday, even with rain all the way until we got to Abbotsford. I took the kids to the ferry yesterday and am now enjoying some quiet time! Lots of love to both of you, Agneta
