Whirlygig's Calamity's KVR Blues: Wednesday, March 16th!

The means of defence against foreign danger have been always the instruments of tyranny at home. -James Madison, fourth US president (16 Mar 1751-1836)

Hello Summerlandians! Thanks for sending message asking for snow-shoes! Much appreciated. I assume we will meet at HH at 9:00 am tomorrow. Wonderful time last night so thanks for joining us. Amira will be leaving shortly to drive back to Kamloops as she has a class at noon. Off to ride some of the KVR this morning with the Birthday Goil and Whirlygig. Cheers, Patrizzio!

Hi Patrizzzzioo, Thanks for the photos. We enjoyed it also, very nice meeting Jane, Amira and George (they actually seem decent and sensible people :).
Let's see what we hear from Jim and/or Al. See you soon, Aarturo

All set for tomorrow, choice between several extra pairs from Al and Tony.
See you tomorrow at HH, 9:00 AM Cheers, Aarturo

Hi Luise, we are looking forward to meeting you both. It is fine for you to stay from the 22 to 26. We will be happy to show you the wonderful wineries. See you next month! Corinne

Thanks very much Corrine, that’s very generous. And we can’t wait to partake of all the fun in the Okanagan! Looking forward to meeting you and Patrick, Luise and Dave

Hi Corinne! Welcome back! You were missed at today's walk. Great that you can host Luise and Dave on those days. I was thinking to make Saturday less stressful, that we do the wine tour on Sunday rather than Saturday. I know that's far into the future, but I'm hoping that works for you and Patrick. And then we would go look at birds and flowers on the Saturday morning, and give the market a miss.... Up to you Dave and Luise - would you rather go to the Penticton Farmer's market, or birding and botanizing? We can talk again later in April..... Pam

Patriçio, You still in town? Tried your cell. PLEASE initialize the voice message box!!!! Chloe’s PC is all done, up & running, and working great. I think part of the problem may have been a failing hard disk - it took forever (with some error messages and restarts) to copy it over to the new ssd, but eventually got there.
The battery seems sort of OK for its vintage and the ssd (no moving parts) will help. I don’t have Chloe’s contact info, so I need you to connect us so we can figure out how to get the machine back to her. cheers//bjp

Will leave bag of your stuff on back porch on the 29 if you think you will have time to come get it.  Ice packs. Butter water bottle?  Good to see you both over the weekend.
