Those who dream by day are cognizant of many things which escape those
who dream only by night. -Edgar Allan Poe, poet and short-story writer

Wasn't up until Dusty already had the fire crackling so I've taken over the mantle of teenager from the nonagenarians!

MEANING:
noun:
1. An extreme radical republican during the French Revolution.
2. A radical or revolutionary.
1. An extreme radical republican during the French Revolution.
2. A radical or revolutionary.
ETYMOLOGY:
From French, literally, without knee
breeches. In the French Revolution, this was the aristocrats’ term of
contempt for the ill-clad volunteers of the Revolutionary army who
rejected knee breeches as a symbol of the upper class
and adopted pantaloons. As often happens with such epithets, the
revolutionaries themselves adopted it as a term of pride. Earliest
documented use: 1790.
On the hiking front, do you have Dorothy's email address? I cannot seem to find it on any lists I have. Lady Darjeeling and Rosita send along their thanks for the Blueberry Balsamic Vinegar as they had it on the salad this evening! Fabuloso!!!
With respect to Flickr, how does one attach captions? I managed to do something with tags but one needs to click on each picture, when viewing album, to see what is written. Any advice? Must away as I'm sleepy. Cheers, Patrizzio! PS: Sorry for double posting!
Greetings Boot Hikers! Thanks, again, Big Al, for direzzione. Made it safely back to vehicles, and then home, and then to doctor's appointment on time, so happy about the outcome, of course. Thanks, as well, to our Leaders Intrepido, (canine one in particulare!), and for all the fun and games! Another hike extraordinaire!!! Hip Hip Hooray!
Dear Viewers: I'm fairly new to Flickr so not sure how to insert captions. I did manage to place some text, using tabs, but I 'm not sure if this is 'right" method. In the meantime, if you click on a given picture, when viewing album, you can read what I have included for each picture. Cheers, Patrizzio!
